The purpose of this website is to provide written and video examples of some of the more common terms we use in behavioral science especially for the horse world.
While learning about behavioral science is not 'rocket science', it can still be confusing learning a new language. These examples will hopefully help you not only learn the terms, but give you ideas how to incorporate their use into your own training.
My hope for building this site is that it will be a collaborative effort involving anyone in the horse community who is interested in submitting a video. There is no limit to the number of videos for each term and we are hoping for a robust variety of examples.
The videos will be approved by a panel of volunteers who are experienced in behavioral science. If you think you have a video that fits anyone of the listed terms below, please feel free to submit. This will be an opportunity to learn from visual examples, share your profile, and to connect with other trainers.
The terms colored green have one or more videos already. Check these out to get an idea of what this site is looking for. The terms colored orange are terms we don't have videos for yet.The terms with an asterisk beside them, do not have a description yet.
